Monthly Chapter Meeting
Please use the calendar to register for the monthly meetings.
Dinner Meeting Options:
We now have two locations for dinner meetings – Tampa and Sarasota.
Reservations for dinner can only be made by paying in advance by credit card. If you are unsure if you can attend a meeting by the registration cutoff (Friday at 12:00pm before the monthly meeting), you can still attend for the speaker only portion. Registration for speaker only in advance is preferred, but you may still pay at the door without a reservation if you feel your plans are subject to change.
Tampa meetings
The monthly dinner meetings are held at the Marriott Tampa Westshore, 1001 N Westshore Blvd., Tampa. Click here for link to the Marriott Westshore.
Sarasota meetings
For 2010, meetings in Sarasota are schedule for February 17, April 21, June 23, Sept 22 and Nov 17.
The February 17 meeting will be held at METI, 6300 Edgelake Drive, Sarasota, FL 34240. Directions: From either the south or north, take exit 207 (Bee Ridge Road), and turn east on Bee Ridge Road. Make a left at the next traffic light, Mauna Loa Blvd, then left on Edgelake Drive. Proceed past the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center, to the METI building. Proceed to the back of the building, where you will find the entrance for the meeting.
Lunch Meeting Options:
The lunch meeting will take place at Devry University and will promptly begin at 12:00pm and end by 1:00pm. Please make every effort to arrive early to get pizzas and sodas to minimize disturbance to the presenter and attendees. Pizzas and sodas will only be provided at the lunch meetings since we cannot take any special orders.
Sign up early for the lunch meeting! There is a 35 people maximum policy and anyone planning to attend MUST pre-register and pay $15 a person. The cutoff time for registration will be set to 12:00pm the Friday before the lunch meeting to get head-count for pizza orders. Anyone who shows up as a walk-up cannot be guaranteed a seat because we cannot collect money at DeVry. Please bring a print-out of your registration e-mail to show that you have pre-registered and paid for the event.

| Event Cancellation Policy |
Credit card reservations may only be cancelled by contacting the Director of Meeting Coordination.
Please bring your confirmation to the meeting to facilitate registration.
All cancellations must be received prior to the Thursday before our Monday chapter meeting.
All cancellations will be assessed a 20% cancellation fee. See full policy below.
IMPORTANT - PMI Tampa Bay Chapter Meeting Refund & Charge back Policy
Cancellation for refund must occur no later than 5:00 PM EST the Thursday before the dinner meeting. There will be a nominal processing fee (20 percent of the event fee) that will be retained to offset the overhead costs of issuing any refunds/credits. Partial refunds, minus the overhead costs, will be processed by the online payment vendor in the normal timeframe required to do so. The PMI Tampa Bay chapter will not issue refunds or credits past the established cutoff date.
IMPORTANT - PMI Tampa Bay Prep Class Refund & Chargeback Policy
Cancellation of Prep Class registration for refund must occur no later than 8:30 AM EST, April 3, 2009 (Spring class) and 8:30 AM EST October 16, 2009 (Fall class). There will be a nominal processing fee (20 percent of the event fee) that will be retained to offset the overhead costs of issuing any refunds/credits. Partial refunds, minus the overhead costs, will be processed by the online payment vendor in the normal timeframe required to do so. The PMI Tampa Bay chapter will not issue refunds or credits past the established cutoff date.
The PMI Tampa Bay Chapter considers charge backs as a broken service agreement. Members/ non-members should first appeal to the PMI Tampa Bay Executive Board for reimbursements by submitting a formal appeal to appeal to the current Treasurer. Once submitted and received, the PMI Executive Board will review submitted appeals for consideration of refunds past the cancellation cutoff period.
