 The Tampa Bay Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) was proud to host the 2009 PMITB Symposium held at the beautiful waterfront Tampa Convention Center in downtown Tampa on September 25th and 26th. This year’s Symposium, themed – flü·id·i·ty – Solving Today’s Business Challenges through Innovative Project Management, featured a full-day workshop, 2 half-day workshops, keynote speakers and over 20 presentations.

- Keynote Speaker – Dr. Gordon Davis is one of the founding members of PMI. He will share entertaining experiences and provide powerful encouragement for the future of the profession.
- Keynote Speaker – Tom Sheives, PhD, PMP, author of "OPPORTUNITY unstuck!" presents “OPPORTUNITY unstuck! – The Innovative Project Manager.” What if you could guarantee your future success by discovering opportunities that are perfect for you?
- Keynote Speaker – Danny Griffin, Founder and CEO of Danny Griffin Productions which provides coaching and mentoring on how to develop the appropriate mindset to overcome any challenge.
- Full-day workshop – Carl Pritchard, considered one of the pre-eminent experts, will speak about Risk Management
- Half-day workshop - Rick Morris will be guiding and laughing us through his workshop modeled after his second book -“Project Management That Works”
- Half-day workshop - Mark Wiskup will present a seminar called "Stop Talking; Start Communicating" to help your communication skills
- New this year is the first PMITB Job Fair
- 20 outstanding Saturday Session Speakers including a track on career related topics!
