Topic: Dashboard & Google Integration

Overview: After DLC designed a web site for one client, they asked us to automate their service team. They had been routing orders to their team using paper. They wanted a modern solution. They were considering a shared Google document, but the whole team would see all the incoming orders. That was not efficient. They were also considering SalesForce, but systems like that were complex and training would cause delay. So, Dan at DLC proposed a better solution. If we added DLC's orders database to their site, then orders could be assigned to different service people. Each person on the team would login and see their own dashboard. They liked the idea, but asked if we could add a "distance calculation", so each person could see the distance to each delivery address. To calculate distances accurately, Dan integrated the site with Google Maps and figured distances based on turn-by-turn navigation.

Demo: What follows is a short demo of DLC's dashboard plus integration with Google Maps. Imagine if you were to check your dashboard for new leads or orders each day. What types of data would you need to see? What would make your operation more efficient? Click the button below to begin.
